Summer Staff

Our Summer Staff are the backbone of our Summer Camp program. Junior Staff are 14 and 15 years old, their job is to help with the daily tasks of keeping the camp running. Assistant Group Leaders are 16-17 years old,  and help lead the groups, and provide support for the Senior Group Leaders. The Senior Group leaders are 18 years old, and up. They lead the groups in their activities, devotions, and is responsible for the well being of their campers. Please see below for more information on each position. 

  • General expectations for all staff

    1. Be Certain of your own personal salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

    2. SHow a desire to grow spiritually and become more like Jesus.

    3. Share the goals of CSBC and TMM Ministries and agree with the Statement of Belief.

    4. Show love for others, especially children, and encourage others to trust in Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with him.

    5. Follow instructions from CSBC leadership with a good attitude.

    6. Be flexible and willing to help wherever you are needed.

    7. Cooperate with fellow CSBC staff members.

    8. Be in good health to meet the physical demands of a week of camp.

    9. Be willing to learn, participate in, and lead camp activities with energy and enthusiasm.

  • Senior Group LEaders

    A Senior Group Leader is responsible for the safety, supervision, and spiritual leadership of campers assigned to them. This person is in a position to most effectively communicate, by words and actions, what it means to follow Jesus Christ.

  • Assistant group leaders

    An Assistant Group Leader is in a Group Leader training position, which includes assisting the Senior Group Leader. The Assistant Group Leader may need to lead in the Senior Group Leader's absence due to illness, injury, or special circumstance (as appointed by the Camp Director).

  • junior staff

    Junior Staff members act primarily as support staff, but will interact with campers daily. Junior Staff may also gain experience towards becoming an a Assistant Group Leader. Junior Staff may occasionally be asked to serve as Assistant Group Leaders.
